A Radiolab dedication

It’s worth bringing to your attention that the wonderful Radiolab podcast dedicated an entire episode to translation a few weeks back. I finally got around to listening to it today. As always the theme of ‘translation’ is considered widely and loosely. There are stories of phone interpreters treating horrifying 911 calls and sign-language interpreters getting involuntarily cought up in a comedy act; but there is also the consideration of the translation of your DNA code by RNA which leads us to question of whether we are not all just the imperfect result of translations ourselves.
